Amadeus

Amadeus 

    I took Amadeus Exam last March (I guess). I've learned through their e-learning website (www.alc.amadeus.com)  which was provided in our school about making airline reservations. It helped me a lot in my OJT days in a travel agency (Forefront). I scored 98/99% (I'm not sure of the exact grade). Because of that, I received a Certificate of Distinction. Yey! It's the highest rank in Amadeus.

     I just checked today (12.16.11) my account in Amadeus E-learning if it is still working. I've also guessed the password to log-in because I already forgot mine. Good thing, I was able to log-in successfully. So yes, I can still open this site when I have queries about using Amadeus or when I forgot something about making reservations. 

     I've uploaded this photo so that it will remind me of my log-in details for future use.

- I had a fine day today. I was able to relax today, and free my mind from school's stress. Yey! 2 more days before the school's official class break. 

- I didn't eat lunch today because I was too lazy to prepare for my own food. (buti nalang nanglibre si Omoni when I'm very hungry. haha)

- Ow! I was supposed to be on duty for Sayawit today, but I wasn't able to read Kuya Jade's text (11pm yesterday, and 8am today) right away. I read it late (4pm). Therefore, I wasn't able to usher today. 

- Thanks OMONI for the various pasalubong, yummy dinner treat, and comfortable taxi ride. 

- While we were in Shakey's, Ate Hanna wasn't with us. She attended the Christmas Party of her ORG (FEUCSO?), but she followed us. Mama ordered Mojos and Pizza (take-out) for her.

1. Jovi Diarrhea
     
     My brother had a diarrhea, and he's in school. The teacher didn't allow him to go home because no one will accompany him. Good thing, after his class, he went home early (very different from his usual routine).

2. Late Pasok (TRMT)


     I was late for class today because I'm lazy to dress up. Good thing, when I arrived, the prof has not checked the attendance yet. Bad thing, he really didn't check the attendance. He just checked and gave comment about our questionnaire.

3. Broken BB CP


     My Blueberry CP fell when I am about to get inside the room after drinking water with my glass. I held my phone and glass in my right hand, and opened the door with left hand. Then, I lost grip in my right hand and something feel. So sad, I really thought that my glass fell, and felt surprised when POOF! it was my BB phone. The back case was removed and the battery also was dispersed.  I felt that something will happen to my phone. Another POOF, my LCD is broken. It is half in white. I can just see the above part. So sad, before my sensor is faulty, but now my LCD is also damaged.

4. Class Advisory


     Our other classes (HOM and LITA) declared that we don't have classes anymore. I asked my professor if we still have a class in EVENTS MGT, but he didn't reply. I therefore assumed that we still have class. 


5. Divisoria


     I went to Divisoria because I have very long vacant hours. I bought the things that mom asked me to buy.

6. Evening Class


     I went to class even if I know my classmates won't attend because I'm still in the area. 

     In EVENTS MGT, the professor arrived late, but we didn't do anything in the room. He said he just checked if he has students. He gave me MACAROONS which is a gift from Sir Doodz to him. Then, he dismissed us early. He didn't check attendance (Good thing for my blockmates). 

     In LITA, I saw the professor in his other classroom (before our class), I was surprised because he was there and it was announced that we don't have a class for today. I decided to stay even though I can go home early. I also saw an irregular classmate of mine who was not informed. When I told her that our blockmates went home, she was about to leave  already, but I told her that she should stay for a little while and just let the professor at least see her/us. We waited, then the professor went to the room. He saw that he has no students. Other students are using our room. Then, we showed up to him. I asked if we will still have recitation so that I can catch up. Then, we checked the other class' prelims. He said he will give us +10 for checking (yey! 100 q n siguro recitaion dhil sa bonus). Another classmate (irreg) also arrived and checked the paper. After checking the paper, the professor told us that he will treat dinner for us.

    Our professor in LITA treated us dinner in Tokyo Tokyo. He gave us suggestions whether to eat in Tokyo (2x) or Yellow Cab. We are too shy to answer. That is why the professor just decided to treat us in Tokyo Tokyo. 

7. Meet Mama

     
     I met Mama for Jovi's diarrhea medicine. We are supposed to meet at Recto Station at around 7:30pm because we don't have classes. But since our professor treated us, I asked her to go first, and just meet after. We met at Ice Cream Store Molave. I gave her all the stuff that I bought in Divisoria. She also gave me Jovi's medicine. 

8. Taxi


   I met my older sister at the corner of Katipunan. We rode the taxi which was sponsored by our mom.

     I was thinking if I should still apply for a locker today after what have happened yesterday. I said to myself that if I wake up early, I will still apply. If I don't, I won't apply anymore. But because I'm very tired yesterday and slept late, I wasn't able to wake up early. I woke up at 10am. I dressed up at 11am. I borrowed the checkered skirt of my sister because today is her rest day. There was also this moment that I went in our room's restroom to ask if I can borrow her skirt. She was surprised and screamed. The funny thing is I'm surprised also, and told her "Sorry po". After that encounter, both of us just laughed.

2. Way to School

     We left home together. She is to go somewhere (I think it's in Megamall) and I'm on my way to school. There was a tricycle, and Ate asked me to treat her. I didn't agree; instead, I told her that I will pay for the tricycle in La Vista, and she'll pay for the ride in Katipunan.I showed her the new shortcut in Treat's Parking Lot. Then, we crossed the footbridge. We saw a jeepney and rode. She asked me to treat her again, but I told her she should pay for me. I asked her if she has 14php to pay for both of us as a student. She said and showed me that she has no coins (barya). She just gave me 11php and asked me to add some coins and pay for the jeep. So I did it.

     When we arrived the destination (corner of Katipunan. Ministop), we decided to eat lunch at our Suki. Ate ordered Binagoongang Baboy (It looks like Bicol Express) and I ordered Caldereta (it does not look like one, more of Afritada). When we've finished eating, we paid for our bill and went to the LRT Station. Ate and I parted our ways in the LRT Station. She rode a jeep (Cubao EDSA), and I rode the train. 

     I was standing when I rode the train in Katipunan. I reviewed for the quiz in my first class. When the train arrived in Cubao, I was able to sit. When the train was in J. Ruiz, I felt some inconvenience in my stomach.  I'm happy that I was able to review it all.When the train arrived in Recto, I rushed to buy Wet Wipes in the 10php store and ran downstairs. The rest is a history. (nakakahiya. haha)

3. PER DEV'T

     I rode a jeep because I'm late for class. Aw. So sad. We have a quiz in that class, and when I arrived, they are already in numbers 14-15. (Sobrang nakakalungkot talaga kasi 2/15 lang ako sa quiz and I reviewed, and that's because sumama ang tyan ko. huhu). They also corrected the quiz, so I was very sad because I won't have a make-up quiz anymore. I also have a classmate who's late. She is also good in class and a scholar. The professor taught us also about the guidelines to believe in yourself. 

     After the class, my classmate and I talked to the professor for a make-up quiz. She told us "Huwag kayo lumapit." It's maybe because she knows we will be asking for a make-up quiz. I thought she won't allow us to have it. But, thank God she allowed us to have a make-up quiz. She'll give it to us next meeting. She told us that it will be the last time she'll do it. It also made me happy when the professor told us that she is looking for us before giving the quiz. She knew it that I'll just be late and not absent.Thank you LORD very much.

4. ECO TSM

     The professor just taught us about the Philippine Geography. We will have a map quiz in his class next meeting.

5. BSC MACR

     Before class, I still have a bad stomach (in fairness, sulit ang wet wipes). I thought that I will also be late for this class. Good thing, I'm not. When I arrived, there was an ORG. about STOPPING HUNGER that presented in class. It somehow delayed the class. The professor just discussed about Aggregate Demand. He also discussed some of the current events in the Philippines (like GMA TRO, Pnoy Porscha, Aquino & Lopez). 

6. FL2 (Mandarin)

     The professor in BSC MACR dismissed us early. I bought Longanisa Rice first for a snack. I ate it in our FL2 Classroom because the professor's still not there. Also, not all my classmates are there.


     When the professor arrived, he professor taught us about the Chapter 3 in the book. He also discussed the class rules. I've also learned the Mandarin for titles of family members. He also complimented me for having a book.

     The professor taught us about Laws related to Philippine Monetary System and Coinnage.

8. Way Home

     After class, I went home with some of my blockmates. When I arrived in Katipunan, I'm supposed to eat in my Suki, but they don't have viand anymore. Ahcom was supposed to treat me there, but because there was no food, he told me to eat in Jollibee instead (his treat. lucky ko talaga). The line was long in Jollibee, and I'm trying to save my paper money. I tried calling home to ask if there's still food. Papa told me that there's rice and he can cook corned beef, and he's alone at home (wala pa daw umuwi).  I decided to go home so that I can save my paper money and to have dinner with my dad.

     It's my special friend's birthday today. His name is AHCOM.  I was with him in the early part of the day (12am). He sent me home after a date with him. 1st live greeting . 1st text. 1st FB greeting. 28 Mentos. We also took some pictures to commemorate his birthday. M.... We are still celebrating our month-long birthday celebration.

1. Went to School Early. Locker Application

     I went to school earlier today. It's because today's the resume day for locker application. These are the following details posted in the paper (Locker Application : Nov.17,2011. 9:00-9:45am. Look for Sir Rommel) the other day. So there, I woke up at 7am and dressed up for school. I left home at about 8am, and arrived there at 9am. When I arrived, I noticed that the paper posted was no longer posted, and there was no one trying to accommodate the locker application. Also, the door of the said room (SB104) for locker application is locked. I also saw a student waiting outside the room. It looks like she's applying for a locker also. Minutes passed by, and still nobody assisted us. Locker applicants also grew (about 10 people). When the staff inside the room with a fellow staff went outside, I asked them about the locker application. I think it's already 9:20am. Then, she told me that it's in another room (SB 201). I went upstairs and asked the guy there about the locker application, he told me that the person-in-charge (PIC) is absent, and I should go back tomorrow (10:30am). I just felt disappointed and irritated. I woke up early, waited so long, and will just know that the PIC is absent. (Arghhh... So frustrating!)

2. Wifi in FEU Pavillion

     My class starts at 10:30am, so I still have a lot of time to do something else. I just decided to use my laptop in the Pavillion. It is a Wifi Zone. Almost all the places in FEU are Wifi Zone, but the Pavillion is a place with a good signal for Wifi usually. Then, I saw my older sister using her laptop also. I sat with her and used my laptop. I shared my bad experience of the locker application. Even if my sister is using her laptop, she can't connect to the Internet. I also can't connect to the Internet. We can see that other students can connect in the Internet and are using Facebook. I just tried to reconnect it and see if I can use it. My sister decided to buy food first, so she asked me to look for her things. When she left, I got connected in the Internet. So I started using the Internet. When she got back, she still can't connect to the Internet. She asked me to fix her connection. I tried fixing. It was connected, but the connection is very slow. Then, it was almost time for class so I left her already. She also has a class at 10:30am so I wonder if she was able to use the Internet. 

3. TRMT

     My professor just discussed today. He taught us about the different kinds of research. He also sent us the template for the research. 

4. FL2 (Nihonggo)

     Last semester, I have studied Mandarin for my foreign language. I enrolled this semester with Nihonggo as my FL. But since it is mandated that we should take our previous FL as our FL2, I took Mandarin again for our foreign language. It changed my FL schedule to TF 6:00-7:30pm with my previous blockmates. Since my other blockmates will have class during their FL2, and I will have long vacant hours, I just decided to sit in class with them. I also want to learn another language. My other blockmates also taking up Mandarin left the room when the professor arrived. They are supposed to sit in class also.

      It was the first time that Yuichi Kataoka (I'm not sure if that's the right name), their professor showed up to class. There was an ITHM event last meeting that took his class time so we are not able to meet him. He asked each one in the class to introduce themselves in Japanese (Hajimemashite! Watashi no namae wa ____ desu. Douzo Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu-- Nice to meet you. My name is _____. I'm pleased to meet you.) I'm very nervous, but in order for the professor not to notice that I'm a sit-in, I still introduced myself. I also saw a student that is supposed to introduce herself left the room so she will skip the introduction. I was thinking of doing the same but because I really want to learn, I introduced myself. He also taught about age, nationality, country, and the writing. 

5. Vacant. FEUlikulahan

FEUlikulahan 2011 Poster

     There was an event in the Auditorium. I knew it because I'm part of the Ushering and Tour Guiding Committee (UTGC) but I'm not an usher for that day. The event is FEULIKULAHAN, a film showing. When I went there, short films by Masscom students were played. I sat at the back seat near the entrance. Kuya Guard let me sit there. 

     After the first film was shown, Kuya Guard and I discussed about what happened in the film. I can't understand it, and just concluded that maybe the the guy is like that because the girl is already dead. Then, there was an open forum for any questions regarding the film. Nobody asked and the students who made the film just explained the movie. Then, a student (director of the film) pointed to us, and explained that the lady did not die. We were shocked because the one sitting in front of us is the director  and heard our discussion. He said that the guy is like that because he does not love the girl anymore and he wants a breakup (something like that). But he said that the film is an open ending and we can give our own interpretation.

     The second film has somehow two films in it. The main story is the students trying to make a film, which was themselves. They showed the different situations of doing a film. It includes the planning for the film, thinking of the characters, shooting the film, editing, passing the film to the professor, and showing the film they made. The said film that they were doing is about a fat guy who meets a girl in a jeep. They've talked and the guy thought the girl likes her. but it ended up that the girl is an agent for a slimming product. It's very funny.

     The third film looks like a very good film with the setting in Binondo Area. I think the story is about a Chinese person. The resolution is very nice like those shown in cinemas. It's just bad that when this film was shown, it was almost time for my HOM class, so I left the Auditorium.

6. HOM

     Last Monday, the professor was not in our class because I think he has a business trip. Today is the first time for our lecture proper. He taught us about Chapter 1 of the book. I think it's the basics of Hospitality Industry. It includes the definition of hotel, their classifications, and the like. He also made some insights about the benefits of being a tourism student in FEU. He said that we have quality education because we have prestigious professors.

7. Vacant

     I saw Kuya Jade and talked to him about UTGC. After few talks with him, I used my laptop again. I'm blogging about 11.16.11. I also edited some pics to post. When it was almost time, I went to the classroom. The professor was still not there so I continued blogging using my laptop outside the room. I stayed in the stairs with few people. I didn't notice that the professor arrived, but I noticed my classmates going inside the room, so it made me realize that the prof is there. 

8. Events MGT

     When I tried to enter the room, the door is locked.  I thought the professor asked them to lock the door, so late comers won't be allowed to attend class. Good thing, someone went outside, and I was able to go inside. The professor just asked us to submit our 1x1 pictures and to think of the event that we should have and the election of leaders.

     I really don't want to be the Chairman because I'm not used in organizing events. I also did not become an officer since freshman because I don't want to take such responsibilities. Because they chose me, I hope that I will be able to organize a good event with them. I hope that I won't disappoint them.

9. LIT A

     We had a quiz about the application of what we've learned last meeting and "The Three Hermits." The quiz is open book and open notes because the quiz is application of what we've learned. Some of the questions are tricky and confusing. I only got 8/10. I hope to have perfect score some time. He also taught us about "The Three Hermits". It makes me realize that various literature are written symbolically. Our class uses bingo system for our recitation. Our prof donated 100 for tonight's winner, but nobody won. Our professor here is very cool because of the quiz rules, book advantage, play advantage, and recitation incentives. He makes class fun and interesting. He also uses Hangman for recitation.

10. Dinner in my Suki

     I just head home and ate at the corner of Aurora and Katipunan (suki ko). I ate Puchero for dinner. It's very delicious. I eat here usually during lunch and dinner. It's very optimal (sulit) for me because the food is very cheap (25php). The serving includes viand and two cups of rice. It's good for me because I eat a lot. I also like the server there. He's very hospitable. He's also a gay. I like to eat there when he's in duty. I talked to him about my school (FEU). We've also talked about the tuition, and me and my sister being a scholar.

11. Head Home. HOME

     After eating, I just head home. Ahcom called me, and I just talked to him. I greeted him Happy Birthday many times today. I walked in La Vista (the usual). He makes me forget the distance of my walk in La Vista. When I arrived home, I just continued blogging. (So blogging addict na ko ngayon. haha). I slept late today. So tiring! Should I wake up early for the locker application tomorrow?
